Jess was so excited to be asked to work on these illustrations for Together4Forests, a global coalition of 220 NGOs including ClientEarth, Conservation International, Environmental Investigation Agency, Fern, Global Witness, Greenpeace, and WWF. Their collective effort led to the adoption of the world’s first law targeting global deforestation, passed by the EU in 2023.
In 2025 they continued to push for this historic law to be enforced, which included this social media campaign featuring illustrations of beloved children's book characters whose stories take place in forested settings, accompanied by the tagline "The EU Deforestation Law protects what we love!"
